Should I choose Cover Only, Ultra-Bead or SoLuxe™ filling?
Choose the filling option shown for the exact product you are buying. Cover Only contains no filling and suits customers who already have a suitable supply. Ultra-Bead is a fine bead fill that moves with your body. SoLuxe™ combines foam and beads for a softer, cushioned feel.
A cover-and-filling option does not automatically mean pre-filled: check the option description and delivery information. Filling quantities and available systems vary by model. Choose a listed compatible option or ask us to match filling to your lounge before ordering.
How much filling does my lounge need?
Use the quantity specified for your exact model and filling type. A chair, twin lounge, ottoman and pet bed have different capacities, and a foam-and-bead blend should not be treated as interchangeable with the same volume of loose beads without checking the recommendation.
For a new cover, select the matching filling option where available. For a top-up, first redistribute the existing filling and assess what is missing. What does the Funnelweb™ filling system do?
Funnelweb™ is Ambient Lounge’s zip-and-tip transfer system for compatible covers. Connecting the filling bag to the cover creates a contained route for moving the filling, making filling and emptying more manageable than pouring loose beads through an open zip.
Check that the cover and filling system are compatible before ordering. Follow the supplied instructions and keep loose filling away from children and pets during transfer. The system is useful when topping up a lounge or emptying a washable cover for cleaning.
Will I need to top up my bean bag over time?
Bead filling can compress with use, so a top-up may eventually be needed. First plump and redistribute the existing filling: this can restore the seat’s shape without adding more. If the lounge still feels underfilled, use the model’s recommended compatible filling.
Add gradually and test the feel rather than packing the cover tight. A comfortable lounge needs room for its filling to move and contour around you. Beanbags.com.au supplies filling separately so you can maintain a suitable cover instead of replacing the entire piece.
When will my order arrive, and can the cover and filling arrive separately?
Beanbags.com.au ships Australia-wide. Most in-stock orders dispatch within 1–3 business days; transit time is additional and depends on your postcode and the size of your order. Pre-orders and special orders follow their stated availability rather than the in-stock estimate.
Covers and filling can travel in separate parcels and arrive on different days, with separate tracking emails. Check each tracking number before reporting a missing item. See our shipping policy for regional estimates, oversized deliveries and help with tracking.
Are there any exclusions to change-of-mind returns?
Yes. For hygiene reasons, expanded mattresses, opened filling and certain personal-use products may not qualify. Custom-made, personalised and special-order products cannot be returned for a change of mind. These restrictions do not remove your rights for faulty goods.
