BUYING BEAN BAG COVERS?
Our beautiful bean bag covers are delivered via Australia Post; anywhere in Australia. All bean bag cover orders are despatched from our Melbourne warehouse within 1-2 working day of purchase.
Due to our gold class covers beaing quilted and structured with elastics, please expect a medium-sized cover package.
Once despatched, you will immediately receive an email with a tracking number so you can follow the progress of your goods. Expect your cover in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane to arrive within 3-5 working days of order. Expect Perth, Tasmania and non-metro cover orders to take 7-10 working days. If you require a special fast delivery please contact us on 1300 707 121 and we will always do our very best to meet your requirements.
BUYING BEAN BAG BEANS?
Our ultra-bead high density bean bag beans are the best in Australia. They are delivered in extremely large waterproof parcels (with our zip ‘n tip system) and are now sent via Australia Post throughout Australia. Being large packages, they may come in separate deliveries over a couple of days.
We manufacture your virgin, fully recylable beads in a local state depot. For instance, if you purchase beads in Sydney, they are made in a local Sydney depot. If you order in Melbourne, they are made in a Melbourne depot and so on.
Please note that because all covers come from Melbourne and beads come from local depots – they will likely not come at exactly the same time or together. We do however aim to get beads to you as quick as possible at all times.
All our bean bag beads go out on a weekly local despatch to co-incide with bean bag cover purchases. All bean bag filling comes with our Patented Funnelweb “zip & tip” bags and will be delivered by Australia Post.

Key delivery points:
1. If you are ordering a product for delivery outside Australia, you may be responsible to pay Customs Import Duty in order to receive your item. This is your responsibility and not that of beanbags.com.au.
2. If you purchase multiple items you will normally be charged combined costs of shipping on a per unit basis. With bean bag beads and covers, your products will arrive separately as per above.
3. For receiving bean bag beads you should try and ensure that someone will be available at the delivery address at the time & date of estimated shipping arrival. This could be a home address or a work address. If someone is not present to receive the item (and instructions have not been left to leave the goods), Aust Post will generally leave a card in your letterbox advising that the goods are at the local Post Office awaiting collection. However, if you don’t do so, you could be liable for a returned item fee, as well as the additional cost to redeliver your item.
Our covers are conveniently sent to your address via Australia Post with our trackable service.

1. Where do you deliver in Australia?
We deliver Australia-wide—including all metro and most regional areas. Our products ship directly to your door in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane/Gold Coast, Adelaide, Perth, and Tasmania. No matter where you live, we’ll do our best to get your order to you!
2. How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs depend on your location and the size of your order (especially for larger items like bean bags and luxury dog beds). For most metro areas (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane/Gold Coast), shipping is fast and affordable. Regional and remote areas may incur higher freight charges due to the size and weight of our products. You’ll see your exact shipping cost at checkout.
3. Why does shipping cost more for some items or locations?
Bulky items like filled bean bags and XXL dog beds are expensive to send across Australia due to their size and weight. We work hard to keep shipping as low as possible and subsidise some of the cost for our customers, but remote and non-metro deliveries are simply pricier. We’re up-front about these charges so there are no surprises!
4. Do you offer free shipping?
We occasionally run promotions with free or discounted shipping for selected metro areas or product ranges. Check our homepage or sign up for our newsletter to be first in the know!
5. Can I pick up my order?
Yes! If you’re in Victoria, you can now pick up your order from our Ambient Lounge showroom at 303 Reserve Rd, Cheltenham, VIC 3192. Pick-ups are available Monday to Friday, 10am–4pm, and must be pre-arranged so we can have your items ready. If you’ve already purchased online and want to pick up instead, we’ll happily refund your shipping cost. You’re also welcome to visit and shop in-store—our showroom team will be happy to help!

6. How long will my order take to arrive?
Most metro orders arrive within 3–7 business days. Regional and remote deliveries may take a little longer due to courier schedules and distances. We’ll send you tracking info as soon as your order is on its way.

8. What if I need to return or exchange my order?
Due to the size and shipping costs of our products, we can only accept returns for faulty or incorrect items. For change-of-mind or sizing issues, return freight is at the customer’s expense and can be significant for bulky goods. We strongly recommend double-checking sizes and suitability before ordering—our team is here to help with any questions before you buy!
